MELBOURNE, Fla. — The Brevard Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosted a successful Business Social from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, at Hotel Melby in downtown Melbourne. The event brought together Chamber members, business owners, elected officials, community leaders, artists and guests for an evening of networking, art, music and community engagement.
The Chamber was honored to welcome U.S. Rep. Mike Haridopolos, Melbourne Deputy Mayor David Newman and Pam Posey Persse, district director. The Chamber also extends special appreciation to Melbourne Mayor Paul Alfrey and his wife, Adriana, for attending and supporting the local business and multicultural community.
Special thanks go to event sponsors MHM Aesthetics and Health First for helping make the evening possible. Their support allows the Chamber to continue creating opportunities that connect businesses and strengthen relationships throughout the Space Coast.
The evening included a performance by Encanto Caribe Musical, a program of Colombian Multicultural Integration Inc., as well as live music by artist Tito Cevallos, who added a special touch to the evening’s entertainment.
Guests also enjoyed an art show presented by Painting Smiles of Brevard, a program of the Brevard Hispanic Center. Artists Randa Israwi, Rafael Picon and Andrea Castañeda exhibited their work. Artist Jenny Rosalsky was also present representing Painting Smiles of Brevard and supporting the program’s mission of connecting art with the community.
The Chamber also recognized volunteers Nancy Morales and Beverly Joyce Lee for their assistance throughout the event. Additional appreciation goes to José Rubio for helping with the organization and promotion of the Business Social and to Jana Avila, community outreach coordinator, for her work coordinating the event.
Special thanks also go to Bianca of AW Visuals for capturing the evening through photography and helping document the people and moments that made the event memorable.
Most importantly, the Brevard Hispanic Chamber of Commerce thanks everyone who attended, especially its members.
