PALM BAY, Fla. — The Brevard Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosted a successful business luncheon at Morel’s Bar and Grill, bringing together local leaders, entrepreneurs and community members to celebrate culture and strengthen business connections.
The event, held in recognition of 5 de Mayo, provided an opportunity for networking, collaboration and discussion on local economic initiatives. Officials from the City of Palm Bay were in attendance, showing strong support for the chamber and its mission to promote business growth within the community.
City Manager Matthew Morton addressed attendees and highlighted new initiatives aimed at supporting local businesses and encouraging economic development in Palm Bay. He was joined by Mayor Rob Medina, Police Chief Jeff Spears and Deputy Mayor Mike Jaffe, whose presence underscored the city’s commitment to engaging with the business community.
The chamber’s board of directors gave special thanks to Maria and Edward Morel, along with the entire Morel’s team, including DJ Oscar, for hosting the event, creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing a memorable dining and entertainment experience.
Special thanks were also extended to Jackie Colon for her coordination efforts leading up to the event, as well as to volunteers Nancy Morales and Beverly Joyce Lee for their support in helping make the event a success.
The 5 de Mayo luncheon served as both a cultural celebration and a platform for building meaningful relationships among business professionals, reinforcing the chamber’s role as a bridge between the Hispanic community and local institutions.
